the gtc vxr comes with a standard vxr spoiler...but it also comes with an option for a larger more "focus rs" looking spoiler as in its beefier and higher etc....so im guessing when the vxr becomes available you could probably put that on a normal gtc too as it would be a vauxhall part :thumbs:

i guess the standard gtc and standard vxr spoiler must be different too so thats two options right there from vx.....plus any aftermarket ones like irmscher as you said etc

I think that's the sorta thing i'm after, I love the car's looks and just need that little (well, big) something to break up the bubbliness of the original design and make it appear a bit racier. Will have a look into the VXR options, it's the same body so in theory I could have it fitted by my local dealer Cheers!

you'll have to wait until they start selling the vxr over here so not too long to go....but then you can buy one

 

Have you thought about the Irmy spoiler,

Its a bit Civic Type R looking but I like it to be honest

However with all things Irmy you need to sell a kidney to be able to afford one

 

so if you have stuck to astras and irmy g, irmy h you now realise you have run out of kidneys and its limbs next im affraid

 

Dealer has ordered my xp roof spoiler today anybody else got a roof spoiler on they're gtc yet ???

 

Will the weight make any diference to the struts to the back door staying up / open as the extra weight might be too much on the existing ones, think about the bad head when that comes crashing down while you are looking in the boot.

 

You shouldn't have an issue, especially if it's the same one that is standard on another model.
