Tyre Time! Quick question...

Got a astra H 1.9 150, currently has XL tyres on them, i do have to get xl tyres dont i? theyre more expensive :( can anyone recommend some XL tyres for bout £90 or under? cheers (225/40/18)

Yeah its pretty much the same thing. Reinforced tires (sorry, tyres :lol:) means the sidewall filler is made stiffer, or simply, is reinforced. Reinforced tires have the capacity of carrying extra load, thus why reinforced and XL are the same things. You will see either RF or XL to indicate the extra load capacity.

I need tyres too :(

sorry to hijack thread, but why start a new one lol.

i currently run goodyear eagle F1's on the rears (were on the front but had to rotate for some even wear!) and the continental's that came with the car on the front, not really too sure what to get, i like the look of uniroyal rainsport 2's but cant find them online for delivery.

Whats the general consensus on falken FK452's?

Tyres a tyre at the end of the day abit of rubber that goes round and round, people have used diffarnat tyres and will say good things and bad things so only you can make your make up from what people have said.
