I have an Astra Design 1.6 Petrol - Z16 engine. I’ve got the usual leaking rocker gasket so I’m going to replace it. Any advice before I attempt the job? It looks straight forward but haven’t done one before. Is sealant recommended? Torque wrench required for bolts? Is anything really awkward to get out of the way? Thanks

A bead of sealant wouldn’t do any harm, just make sure the surfaces are clean, couldn’t tell you about the torque settings tho

Cheers Davo - I was thinking that myself, Would you recommend the non hardening type? Blue or Red?
