no heat to front screen

hi guys,
discovered this morning on our 55 plate zaf that no heat is getting to the front screen .cannot demist much at all.seems that when on fr screen on heater control air is coming out of the upper 2 vents on dash rather than vents to screen - any ideas ?? also noticed 2 vents 1 each side that could demist fr 1/4 light glass,no air either

Sounds like your heater matrix box thingy, technical I know, may have packed in working. There are flaps inside that direct the air to the desired place! It's a pain to get out as I've seen someone working on one!

Is there any position on the dial where it will actually direct the air to the windscreen? This could well be a control unit issue.

try a pollen filter, could be blocked
