the Denso v6 fills the engine bay of the vectra! if you where to fit one into an astra you would have to make custom rad's ect and then is the problem of getting it to fit to the M32 gearbox as the F40 does not bolt into the astra

 

In my opinion it's too big to fit in, and it'll be far too heavy to. I've only ever seen one modded to 220bhp so in an Astra I'd say stick with a 1.9.

 

now if your talking a project, you could always put the engine in the rear (Y)

yeah but people fitting vxr engines are getting round it

maybe we should look at fitting the saab version of the 1.9cdti with twin turbos

 

If i were you i would go on ebay and check out all the golf mk2 gti with a vr6 conversion. There are quite a few comming up at the min for some reason. It will pull better in an old school golf
