Hey,
ive been looking into new headunit's and been looking at the D5108ze on the eonon.co.uk site but it's out of stock and can't seem to find it again.
Is this still the latest stereo for the Astra in piano black or is there now another replacement as its not listed on eonon.co.uk
(I've posted this in here as i cant post in the eonon section.

Well if you get a double din unit then most are black and most are piano/gloss black. Only thing you might struggle with is the fascia but that could be sprayed

Any one know is eonon are planning on bringing a new one out any time soon? Or are we just going to have to get the old versions off ebay?

Ok, little bit of thread reviving here but hoping you guys will be able to help me out here.
I'm looking at getting the Alpine IVE-W530BT stereo http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alp-ivew530bt-alpine-ive-w530bt.html And looking at the steering wheel control wiring adaptors.
I know I need an alpine wiring adaptor and a connects2 wiring adaptor is that correct? and which ones would I required.
its a 57 plate 1.7 astra cdti with steering wheel controls and BID.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry that’s the wrong Alpine adapter, it will not work with the W530BT.

Look at these head units if you wish to use that adapter

• Alpine IVA-D511R/RB
• Alpine IVA-D800R
• Alpine INE-S900R
• Alpine IDA-X305S / X305 / X100 / X001
• Alpine CDA-9847R
• Alpine CDA-117Ri
• Alpine CDA-9887R

With your chosen unit you need

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/con...silver-double-din-facia-kit-for-vauxhall.html

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/con...apter-for-citroen-peugeot-skoda-vauxhall.html

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/ctsvx002-can-bus-steering-control-adaptor.html

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/connects2-can-bus-alpine-adaptor.html

You lose the CD/Radio line on your BID screen.

After you get an aftermarket stereo installed you will need to visit someone with a tech 2 to enable the "no stereo" function on your car so you can change date and time through your steering controls.

Ive got a pioneer 2400bt with the stalk controls and fascia but it was a nightmare trying to fit it in as the pioneer cage wouldnt fit in the slot so had to cut the cage and what not just to get the system to go into the slot but after all that its worth it as I dont think any Eonon or Vauxhall system will match the sound quality

Sorry that's incorrect information and misleading…. No teck2 required when fitting an aftermarket head unit.

Like I posed on the parts needed, you MUST use a new cage and surround when fitting either double din or single. You cannot use the cage that comes with the unit; this is posted hundreds of time on this forum.

My Pioneer 2400bt fitted with connects2 surround, cage and steering adapter. Gives me full control over the screen, time and head unit functions.

But you are right that the Pioneer runs rings round the OEM and Enono head unit.

My 2400BT and clock working fine

Well when I had my GID fitted with the Pioneer Dvd I had to tell the car using tech 2 that there is no stereo available which opened up a settings menu using the steering controls otherwise this is lost and the only way to change date and time is using an original system. I may be wrong but Pecky is the man that did it for me and also told me about it
