Hi I have a Astra VXD should be running around 220BHP with Upgraded Intercooler, Blanked EGR, IPF Software, Hybrid Turbo and Pre Cat Custom Exahust... Everything was fitted from Regal and the Turbo is only 11 months old.

Basically the car has no fault codes showing from pedal test and checked opcom system, EGR is blanked so can't be that, tried friends Air Mass Flow, Looked at Turbo Sensor don't look dirty really and had look at pipes roughly from cooler around don't seem no obvious leakage. Driving it seems like at the start the turbo works but around 3000 rpm I cannot feel the turbo and it lacks the power.

I'm slightly thinking its Boost Solenoid or a Leak if it was a Boost Solenoid would it come up as a fault code and any obvious was of checking this.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated i'm going out of my nut!

Thanks Harpy

Anyone know how to clean and locate the boost solenoid on a 1.7cdti? Really want to clean mine..
I would assume the boost solenoid is in the same location, regardless of engine fitted?

behind the drivers' side front fog light. Easy to remove and replace once that corner of the bumper has been dropped down.
