Hi all

I've just changed the oil in my 2012 2.0 cdti on 80k miles and I have noticed the Lower half of the turbo casing and air con pipes wet with (I'm assuming) oil.
I may be being picky but I think my tail pipes are more coked up than usual. I have not noticed any drop in oil volume.

Could this be the turbo on its way out? New/ recon turbo or Maybe just seal change?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

if its like the 1.9s( prob is as they use similar garret VNT turbos) the lower oil return pipe has a tendency to seap some oil vapour when it gets up to temp and in general is normal.

The added coke build up could just be down to a change in driving patterns or some somthign you've not really noticed? or even could be the results of a DPF clean/ regen operation having recently been carried out.

Pretty much with the exception of the crappy manifold it is a 1.9 so suffers from very similar problems
