Hi all,

So i pulled out the Xtrons WinCE head unit from my SRi today, as quite frankly it sounded rubbish. So bad that i just left it turned off.
Ive put in a CDC40 Opera and a paired GID and my WORD the sound quality is brilliant !. So powerful and lots of Bass.

After reading the internet for what seems like days, the only way to get a Line-in on the CDC40 is to patch into the lines from the DAB box that would have gone with this head unit originally.

Q. Does anyone know what the GM part number is for this DAB unit ?. Ive searched for ages and cannot find it.
Similarly i cannot find any GM DAB boxes on ebay etc. If i had a part number to search against it might be a bit easier.

Thanks in advance.

I found it !, its 13111066

Purchased one for 10 quid. Now i need to figure out what wiring i need to do.
Assuming the car will have the connector in place for DAB behind the glovebox.

No it wont get any of the DAB stations now. However you need the unit with the CDC40 so you can tap into its audio feed and use it as a line in. Due to the nature of the CDC40, it needs to see the DAB module on the CAN bus before it will allow its audio line-in to be used.
