Pair of mole grips on the outer edge of the plug should do it. Just take it easy as some of the sumps are alloy and can be quite soft.

If you still can't get it off then you might need to get left handed drill bit to extract the sump plug

Dont crack the sump like i did on my bike a long time ago!

If its still really stiff with the mole grips tightened on properly, get a piece of copper pipe or something over the handle for extra leverage. Make sure youre turning anti clockwise before giving it some welly though! :shock:

it helps if your drawing the circles whilst holding a ratchet by a bolt on a car, not just randomly in the office
