Hi,

sort been trying to get my sump off my vauxhall bertone ALL DAY! It's loose but
you think it'll budge nope! My partner very kindly smashed it with a hammer (ouch!) and I now have
a whole (smaller then a penny) in it, I'm from the Portsmouth area is there anyone that can help, either has a spare one, can weld alli and knows how to get the frigging thing off!! desperate!! HELP !

if its the 1.8 (z18xe) you might not of removed the 2 bolts you got 2 plastic covers to one side of the sump (gear box end front and back) and you need a deep reach socket and extension bar when all bolts are off it should come off easy mate

Thank you, wish if received this a few days earlier, yer didn't see those bolts and ended up snapping :s
