Could have been diesel on the roundabout, wasn't caning it... Just got new tyres for the fronts, maybe i overestimated the avaiable grip? It was weird, felt exactly like being on ice when it went, not like normal.

Anyway, back started to slide, before i had time to react, it was gone. One and a half spins later, was pointing the wrong way! Pretty scary! Me and the car are OK though, no harm done

Wondering if I should get the rears done now? Still got about 5mm left...

Sounds like a plan.

Done some reading, apparently this is the best way to do it, new on the rears always. Nice of them to tell me when I was paying good money for new tyres!

Have sent an email with some comments, will get them swapped ASAP.

Just a bit annoying really, because it could have been A LOT worse...

Yes, I know the tyre companies recomend putting them on the rear,

However, with near 300bhp through my front tyres, I want the most grip there, not at the rear.

I'd much rather the back steps out and be able to steer in to the skid and power out of it than the front let go, be able to do nothing about it and hit a tree front on :roll:
