After a broken ribbon after doing a smd conversion on the speedo it sometimes doesn't power up and the car won't start and head lights turn on with the ignition. After wiggling the conector I can get it to work but after leaving the car and returning it won't work again. Help NEEDED!!!!!

After a broken ribbon after doing a smd conversion on the speedo it sometimes doesn't power up and the car won't start and head lights turn on with the ignition. After wiggling the conector I can get it to work but after leaving the car and returning it won't work again. Help NEEDED!!!!!

Update!!!! It ended out to be a problem with the clocks, it looked like a chip of some kind had blown. A new set of divorced clocks paired to the car with exact mileage read from ecu and all is well thanks to vauxtech in Wigan 👍
