Hi,

Odd one here, the wipers work on full speed, but not on intermittant and the rear one doesn't work on the stalk control. The hazards work fine and the indicators work when you lock or unlock the car, but they don't work off the stalk control lever!!

Could it be as simple as a fuse gone??

Any help wound be most appreciated.

Cheers, Danny.

Unlikely to be a fuse, but could be a problem with the CIM module.

Would need plugging into TECH2 for testing to find out.

CIM module, where & what's that?? Lol.

And it was all working till the ignition switch broke & killed the starter motor, which resulted in a low voltage warning code. Is this what's done it or is it just a coincidence??

Cheers, Danny.

Do you have an Astra-G or an Astra-H?

If it's a 'G', you don't have a CIM module, and could be a blown fuse or two.

Yeah it's an Astra G on an 02 plate. Any idea on which fuse?? Or am I going to be checking them all, lol.

Could it be the actual stalks themselves?? Hence why some of the functions work and some don't, :/

With regards to the front wipers, do they go up on the intermittent, but fail to go all the way down?

If so, sounds like a similar problem I had on my mk4, fixed it by fitting a new wiper motor, cost me about 30 quid iirc, not too sure on the other problems though.

This is what happened with my brother. 1 click went to top and stopped for 30 seconds, click 2 nothing, click 3 full speed. £15 for new motors, linkage and arms, good as new

Check fuse 29 - 10A (red).

This supplies the indicator stalk and the multitimer, which controls the wiper delay - amongst other things.
