hi i have a mk4 astra and it is dead slugish when i set of in 1st gear and it jerks when im doing about 40 50 60 70 when cruising can any 1 help :'(

not sure about the jerks but mine aint sluggish in first its more like stone dead, seen shopping trolleys go past me dont think anything under at least 1.8 in mk4 is cutout for acceleration from a standing start though its ok when its goin

could be many things m8, fuel filter,fuel pump vent valve (blocked), bad spark plugs,coil pack, blocked injectors i got the 1.8 sri drives great all through the box cracking car. hope this helps good luck
