Ok Gather round.

I got my car serviced in April. (1st service) with 10,000 on the clock. am now at 18,000 and would like to have another service before Germany to make sure the car is in perfect running order.

Now will this be done to the 2nd Service standard if i book it into Arnold Clark or will it be carried out as just a routen service.

Or..

Am i better going to a local dealer and just asking for an:

1. Oil Change
2. Filter Change
3. And swap my pads over to the New Greenstuff ones

If so how much is Oil and a filter from VX with the Trade Card Discount, and is there anything else i would need. As this would only be until February when the car hits 2 years old and would need its 2nd Service anyways.

Any help info is appreciated.

just do it yourself mate get the bits from halfords, i have got a trade card if you wanna save some money

you dont actually need to do anything if you go by the 20,000 or 1year service. although i would at least change the oil at every 10,000.

so as above just get the oil and filter changed.

Can i get the filter from Halfords...

What about changing front brake pads is that easy?

yeah you can get the oil, filters from halfords and the brakes should be pretty easy
