Yea to be fair mate its there for a reason and i STRONGLY recomend you keep it there, how ever it is an electronic limiter so as im aware the only way to remove it is with a re-map.....
You aren't going to gain alot from removing it mate, perhaps a hefty garage bill when you screw the engine up big time, as said up the page, its put there for a good reason.
