Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of help with this from the J owners and also maybe Vauxhall employees that might be members on here.

Basically I'm looking to compile a list of parts needed for full service (and interim), complete with (if possible, Price and) part numbers for reference.

First of all, are there any parts which differ between Diesel and Petrol, Turbo and non turbo, Astra J and Astra J GTC?

If you've recently had your service done and have a list of parts used, any info you can post here with your vehicle type and parts used would be helpful!

Thanks in advance :)

Here is a list of licensed Dexos2 products - http://www.gmdexos.com/licensedbrands/dexos2licensedbrands.html - If you read the page about becoming a Licensee, there are two types, Licensed Blenders and Licensed Rebranders. Rebranders can buy the product from a Blender and repackage as their own.

Today I called into the dealers asked for a list of what is needed for 2nd year service, 1.4 SRI Turbo.

1 @ 028E02 filter-oil, K
1 @ 076J12A O ring
1 @ 012B00 oil, engine
1 @ 029C00 combination F

Also if needed 2 batteries for remote keys. Which I don't need as they are working OK at 50' so I recon they are both good.

Under £50 trade for parts & their labor is £105 at Dealers
Local garage wants to charge £40 to do the job to book standard using my parts. Booked it in for 27/09/2012

He addaed that he will look at the air filter and let me know if it needs replacing, as dealers did not mention it when I asked about parts list for 2nd year service.

Don't want to spoil the party, but those look like stock locations to me :sus:

Oil filter for something like that would be a 93185674 I would imagine, but I can have a look and come back with a list if you want?

Awesome, thank you! The sparkplugs, is that for a set or 4 per service?
Awesome list. Thanks especially as I'm due for my first service next month so now I'll know what to ask for with my trade card.
You might just want to look at the codes for the SparkPlugs again I think you've mixed up the 1.4T/1.6 missed the 1.6T off the list.

Great idea for a thread Jamie

Just checked the invoice from my first service and confirm oil, oil filter and pollen filter parts were as you've listed for my 1.7CDTI. However they've also charged me for an o-ring part no 90528145. I'm guessing that's for the oil filter but not sure as I didn't see it...

Oil filter was £13.30 retail / £7.13 trade club
5L Dexos II oil was £47.80 retail / £19.58 trade club
Pollen filter was £18.30 retail / £12.50 trade club
O-ring was £0.25p!
(all prices excluding VAT)

I can't believe after taking the time to assemble this thread and get all the info, I've gone and let my dealer charge me 61.50 for oil, filter, and o-ring... That'll be the last time my credit card graces their parts desk! Going to use my next most local one which does accept trade club card.

Yeah I know, it was eating me up all yesterday and last night so I took the oil back for a refund and found a Vauxhall Motorsales dealer about 8 miles away from me I'm gonna go to in future. I'm keeping the filter/o-ring because for the sake of a couple of quid at least I know I have the right parts. And I could update the table at the top too :)
