So I wanted to sort my alloys out, and people were charging ridiculous prices.
so I took it upon myself to do my own and i think i did do half bad job.

So with some 320 grit sand paper, Primer x1, Matt Black paint x1 and Clear Paint x1.

I done this for £25 instead of £300

Jacked up the car removed and cleaned the alloys,

I then sanded them down, washed then again and sprayed the primer on a coat every 15 minutes (ensure the wheel are dry), I put paper around the rim and tires to avoid painting the tyres

[/IMG]

after 45 - 1 hour sprayed the Matt Black on let those dry then put the Clear laquer on

Tada!! End Result Hope You like:thumbs:

Good work pal, I'll be doing this in the summer but I'll be using a few more than 1 tin of each lol, just for durability's sake, I've done it a few times now and feel 3 coats of paint and 5 of laquer give the best and most durable finish, probably a bit over excessive but better to be safe than sorry :D

liking the work.. looks really professionally done too!!!

just some words of advice to people trying this themselves or so i find it to be anyways.

it takes ages and im so impatient and so short of time. i see yours is in matt, so not that long. but i had to laquer mines etc etc but the wheels i had was a state.

mines started like this

and ended like this

it is defo worth doing but i ended up spending £60 so in total so after buying the set, it owed me £110.

i dont mean to raid your thread like that. just thought ill share my points towards it all.
