Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can assist me here,
My turbo has given up the go and has started leaking oil.
I started having a go at getting it off today =/
however after several hours and a lot of parts removed it's still not out lol.
I Just can't seem to get to it very easily?
Any help on getting this bugga out would be more than appreciated!
Has any one here took a turbo off one of these before??
It's a 1.7cdti if that's any help.

If its anything like the VXR
It should be quite straight forward. I always find it easier to undo the slam panel 6 bolts. Then undo all oil/coolant lines as well as the boost and intake pipes. Then undo all the manifold nuts and it should pull forward and off. I think that covers most of it lol

the 1.7 turbo is a bit tight,you will need to remove the egr cooler pipe,i unbolted the aircon compressor and removed the bracket underneath,you dont have to remove the compressor just so you can get access,the oil pipes underneath are a pig as there is very little access,the precat stays on the turbo and you unbolt it once the manifold is off as the turbo also stays on the manifold,you remove it in one big lump
