This is from my Astra Z17DTL.
How do I know what is working properly...?
I noticed now the voltages are a bit erractic and when its idling, sounds a bit lumpy. You can see the interior light dimming slightly as all the other displays in the car....

Posting that data is is unfortunately not much help, as by it's nature the values do change continuously whilst the engine is running. The key is knowing how much the values should change, and when.

The lights can flicker at idle, if either the alternator is not charging correctly, or the glow plugs are switching on and off (which does happen normally whilst the engine is warming up).
