Hi guys going to be doing a oill change soon and will be going to vauxhall for genuine stuff after i've joined on here to get trade club discount of course. Just need to know what grade oil i need. I've read somewhere that i need 5w 30 but just need this confirming or someone to put me right.

Cheers guys that all i need to know. As for the castrol stuff M4NN i don't like using anything else but genuine vxl gear but thats just me. I would of thought it would be ok as castrel is a well known make but i'm sure someone in the know will correct me as i'm a newbie to the astra seen.

Nope. There is a Castrol Edge that meets the Vauxhall GM LL A 025 spec you
need though. Best buy is the Vx super synthetic 5-30 on Trade Club, which meets the spec.
