I had my MOT yesterday, and the guy who done it told me its failed on Front discs because they are pitted and scored on the inside. Also on the rear pads they are low (which I kinda knew).

Amongst other things like one of my fog lights not working, and headlight beams need to be adjusted.

Anyway I had a word with him and he passed it and wrote them down as advisory notes.

The set up I'm considering is:

Front:

Ebay grooved discs (not drilled).

EBC Greenstuff Pads

Rear

EBC Ultimax Pads

For the front I can get the Ultimax pads for like £25 do you think double the price is worth it for the greenstuff?

Thanks!

I use the MTEC drilled and grooved discs off ebay coupled with the Greenstuff pads all round on my Zafira and it's great.

If it can stop the lard-ar$e Zaffy, the Astra will be great (Y)

anyone had experience with both the ultimax and greenstuff? because its like twice the price!

Mind you I hear good reviews for the greenstuff so I might stick them on the front... but on the rear budget myself to the ultimax.

thanks

Yes,
I'm running them on the front of mine at the minute,
They impressed me enough to buy another set and put them in the garage for when mine need replacing
