I'm hoping someone can help before I go back to kwikfit.

Around 2 weeks ago I had new front discs and pads fitted however since then I have noticed when I come to a compete stop the brakes make a grinding noise. If I be gentle with the brakes the noise is not as loud or will not happen.

The car drives normal brakes normal just grinding when coming to a stop

This never use to happen only started since getting Bads+disc fitted.

I will be taking it back to kwikfit who carried out the work but before I do is there anything I can do/say that will be solid proof this has happened because of the repairs.

And has anyone had issues like this before?

I think the answer here might be the fact that you let Kwik **** play with your car. Cheapo parts and shoddy workmanship.

My Astra did this with pads/discs that weren't new but were nowhere near worn. The answer was copper grease.

Yeah I don't think k I'll be using them again.i was told it could be that they put the pads on wrong way around could that be true ?

I'm not sure on that one.

I have a vague recollection that on the H there was a common issue where the pin was put in the calliper the wrong way around. But you've got a J and I can't even remember what sort of noise that was meant to cause.
