Right as most of you know I bought a 3 door Sri as my van is fubar, it’s a very clean example, need to either get the drivers door repaired or replaced, other than that it’s 99.9% standard but it’s early days! Lol, it’s a 1.9 8v 120 DT engine, only thing Iv done so far is fit led number plate lights, so it’s basically as it left the factory
Things I need to do

AC compressor seized
Piano black stuff to source
Might put burg front seats in
Bi xenons
Rear lights
Cdc40 and Dab, upgrade speakers
Spacers
Fit sun strip
Vxr body kit
Not sure on exhaust yet
Egr delete
Remap
Tint out the windows
Sort the suspension out
Think that’s it for now

Damit, yea looking for Bi xenons as AFLs require more work to get working.

Besides would have to wait till the car is swapped.

Got part numbers for them?

Want to find a set, and see how to retrofit

I got mine from the dealers when I got staff discount, they only give 10-15% now.
Retro fit is a breeze, just need to add 2 earths to each side and drill out the headlight plug with a 1.5 mm drill, or get the headlight adaptor loom just need to swap 2 of the wires round as the adaptor is set up for afls, which means you loose the manual height adjustment
Il dig out the part numbers tho

Need ballasts and igniters, can get those much cheaper than the vx prices, yep the eBay lead is the afl 1, just need to swap 2 wires about and it already has the extra earths

So, you would also need the wires for the balasts and igniters.

Fitting is easy, drop the bumper, 3 bolts take the headlight out, unplug the headlight and then same in reverse, honestly it really is as easy as that think I had to program it to having xenon but can’t remember what I programmed, think it was the ipc

Yea, swapping headlights is easy. Got a link for the adapter looms?

Also programming does that require tech2?

That adaptor sorts out the wiring, it’s more or less plug and play tho
