Had my 2.2 Sri in for an MOT yesterday which it passed, I was looking at the brake test results and they were,

Front L 271 Kgf
Front R 322 Kgf
Rear L 195 Kgf
Rear R 171 Kgf
Parking Brake L 122 Kgf
Parking Brake R 133 Kgf

The front efficiency was 45% and the rears 28%, total force 72%, I'm not sure what the results should be, I had new front discs and pads fitted only 50 miles ago and I assume they may need a bit of bedding in, does anyone know if these results are OK, what should they be for the Astra.

You brakes pasted the test easily, the basic rules are:-

Total Brake Efficiency – at least 50% (yours 72%)
Brake Imbalance on Steered Wheels – no more than 25% (yours 9%)
Park Brake Efficiency – at least 16% (yours well over)

The difference in the front brakes left to right is because the driver puts more weight over the right front wheel improving is efficiency. If you have only 50 miles on the new brakes they will get better.
