Hi there i am looking to lower my 2006 astra 1.9cdti but i was wanting to go for the kinda height of the 888 but i have heard that they are 45mm lowered and others have said 35 does anybody know what height they actually are and also whether coilovers are any better.

You want Eibach Sportlines, they'll drop roughly 50mm front and 35mm rear which is 888 stance.

888's are fitted with VXR shocks and sportlines.

Ok many thanks to all the answers i think i will probably go for a 45mm all round as i think that the 888's stance is an acquired taste its just not one that i prefer i like the car to sit flat if you see what i mean and also the front tyres on the 888 look very very close to the arches and with a vxr kit im thinking of putting on id be scared of taking the bumper off lol.

I lowered mine on sportlines two years ago or more and no issues with my normall shocks at all.

Sits nice too.
