very very interesting,,just got off phone to our local vauxhall garage ,head mechanic ,told me ,inlet manifold replacement - DOES NOT need egr valve.....told me only needs manifold itself and gasket along with swirl valve actuator......so if thats the case ,i just saved some serious cash......RESULT

£170 ebay + £140 for actuator......no way forking out £700+ when not needed

I didn't change the egr or HP fuel line. Did inlet, swirl actuator and all the gasgets and bolts.
If I was paying full price I wouldn't change the swirl actuator tbh, just the rod as my was almost worn through. Check the Vectra C forum as there is a brilliant thread on there showing how it's done and the pros/cons of not doing the actuator.
