Hi I have a 2007 2.0 t with a bluefin remap, it has a piper cross induction kit but seems to miss a little when engine gets hot??

would I be better going back to k&n panel??

or would that lose me performance??

Panel filter would be the best bet as the induction kit will have the engine suffering heat soak

Cheers Davo
What about losing the hose that goes over top of rocker cover and going straight into air box at front?
Is that even possible?

The original set up is fairly decent, really only makes any difference on the 2.0 turbo induction but there’s cross over deletes for it

Not sure if it’s just the vxr that has those, there’s not much difference between the 2 engines tbh

It’s more free flowing than a petrol 1, remember that diesels run for the best part on compressing air and a spray of fuel, it’s a known mod for the vxr and 2.0
