I've been doing some wiring on my car, and over an afternoon the battery has gone flat.
So what i'd like to know is what is the normal drain on the battery with everything off? Which circuits drain the most?
I hope this will help me to track down which circuits or componets are at fault (ie wrecked by ham fists...) by taking fuses out one at a time.
Please help me avoid having to go to a proper garage and having to own up!

did you have the radio on all day or the lights?

or have you fitted an amp but not wired it so it turns off with the ignition?

Why dont you start by telling us what 'wiring' you have done and we can take it from there (Y)

I've retrofitted the bottle sensors for check control, dash and switches for heated seats and the signal wire for sight and light. I had the battery disconnected while working, when i reconnected it the car started, everything seemed ok. Nothing has been Tech2ed yet
