Just found this on another forum will this work on the Astra H
On most modern vauxhall models, when a service is due the odometer display shows InSP when you first switch on the ignition. Im surethis makes something in the ECU change a tiny bit so it runs worse till its removed but im not sure. Any way I have here in front of me the remedy to make it go away. Very simple.
Service interval Display Reset (astra g, zafira, new corsa (not sure on other models)).
1) Switch off the ignition (remove the key)
2) Press and hold the reset button (in the instrument) and,
3) switch the ignition on, keeping the reset button pressed for an additional 2 seconds.
4) The disply flashes "InSP" for 2 seconds.
5) The text "----" will be shown on the display until the reset button is released after the resetting operation has been performed successfully.
6) The odo-meter or time disply will then re-appear.
Hope this all helps.
Thank you very much.
