remove the first piece,
then the second,
lift gear cover,
remove two screws,
gently remove the surround starting from the bottom and working your way up.
pull tabs away and undo 4 10mm bolts on the head unit.
UN clip top right connector and join the wire,s too tap into ambient light, connect red on LED too yellow, and black too black.
when you have tested insulate the wire with tape or solder, then remove the storage tray drill a hole big enough for your chosen LED and fix it with tape.
then reassemble in reverse order, the light will now work as your ambient light do.
here's a pic at night blue for effect, my light is now red, pop a pic of that tonight.
