Hey Guys

Got Some extra money to play around with this month and fancy getting my windows tinted, im undecided on the shade to get?

quite like the blacked out look but maybe best to get a dark smoke instead.

What are your opinions?

Went for Limo tints (5%) on the back windows of my 5 door H. Looks Ok but if I had to do it again I'd go for 20% or 35% tints. So yeah, go for Dark Smoke.

Mines 20/35% (I dont remember for certain) on a silver H if you want to see what it looks like. Nice and dark from the outside without being limo black.

I went to Diamond Tints in Rutherglen, Glasgow. £165 for medium smoke rear, light smoke front.

If you go for heat reflective premier film in 20% you will get the best look for the silver IMO, plus the inside of the car is kept cooler in summer.

What would suit a red 3 door h??

Same as for silver .. Not a fan of 5% as you cannot see out the rear or sides at night whilst reversing.

Plus I'm not a fan of the purple look to it.

dont get it too dark it just looks chavy imo just a nice smoked look light/medium on rear 3 just makes it look smart without being too much (Y)

i had mine done last week and i had 30% on back 3 front 2 and a small sunstrip also at 30% looks really nice will get some pics added later (warning tinting front windows is illegal beyond 70% which majority of cars come from factory as standard
