Well I just wanted to get this off my chest and get peoples thoughts.

The bus has recently been getting me down.

First I had to have a new turbo, great, 53,000 miles just before warranty (Y)

But then an engine management light came on. Turns out just a broken differential pressure pipe, again under warranty so OK.

Then up on the ramps, tyres have gone on the very inside again and brakes need doing. So, yesterday, new pipe fitted, new discs and pads fitted, new tyres fitted. So that's me over £400 worse off but thinking, great, the bus is totally awesome.

Then on the way home accelerate it, heard a pop, no power, smoke. ****! Tootled about for a few seconds, clears, can rev it OK until just before 4000rpm, pop, no power, smoke. ****!! So now it's a week to Trax and again I have a bus that's causing me grief!!!

I'm just getting a little downbeat!!

I love it but when she's not behaving, I worry! Especially with 55,000 on the clock and only 5000 left before end of warranty!

Arnold Clarks were brilliant before PVS, fitting the new turbo and Converted Chris bringing it me over.

It's just I love it so much and it's always near show time when it bums me!

I know how you feel. I need 4 tyres,(only got 1 so far), brakes & pads all round, (only got front done as bloody wheel nut is broken) and a cambelt in about 10k. Today as i was at the dealers getting a new wheel nut set, i actually looked at what they had in & would have p/x'd it there and then if they had a 1.9 5dr.

Ever since i started saving for a double din, something has gone wrong & i've no ******* money at the end of the month.:(

Sorry to hijack your thread. Rant over.:)

:(

What's up with it this time?

As for the tyres, I think this is something we all have to just live with if we want a lowered car :(

No fault codes, no EML, nothing!

I know about tyres, I guess it's just because of everything else!

If I didn't need the car for work or seeing my girlfriend and if it wasn't so near to Trax then I guess it wouldn't be so bad!

Nothing worse does put you off a bit, but as soon as it's all fixed it all seems worthwhile, again it's always worse when you have got something coming up and have all that extra expense. Hope it is sorted soon.

Your going through exact same as me bud:'(. Seems to hit a certain mileage and the wall appears?

I'm sure the things are fixable, but i have the same warrenty left, So decide wether to upgrade the warrenty to be fobbed off?? Or get rid and go else where.

Gets you down dont it:|.

mickie feeling your pain buddy, i have the answer mate but it ain't any fun mate, as you know i haven't got many miles on mine 28K, and looking at her might be the way ahead but wheres the fun. Little story for ya, and hopefully he will be one here looking but i totally smoked a new insignia(CDTI) last night on our M2, i totally planted my right foot then noticed no sport button so flipping pressed that and just went for it and he didn't like it one bit. i had to imao at him thinking he was going to take the zaffy, (soz bud if your here but never judge the book mate):D thats why we love our buses mickie becoz it can pull tricks on people you aren't expecting it lol i hope you get her fixed and the love returns again soon.

It's just bloody typical!

Been taking it steady in the car whilst the gf and kids been here. Just seen them off on the train and decided to try it again.

Revved it, no problem! Tried different gears, flooring it, right up to 4500rpm, no problem!!! grrrrrrrr

I worry about when my warranty goes as well, I have just put on 4 tyres, £500 .. Service due when I get home, £200 , Ins + Tax as well !! I have had 2 new keys and it turns out the keyless gizmo in the dash is whacked so being replaced under warranty, and also a new turbo, again under warranty ... But when the warranty goes the big bills will start for sure, which is a worry !!!
