Got a 1.6 sports tourer automatic about 2 months ago. It had under 5000 miles and it's nice to own and drive and still has 14 months warranty. One thing bothers me. On part throttle at between about 28 and 32 mph, there is a distinctly noticeable howl from what I think is the front diff. It disappears below or above this speed and if you take your foot off or give it more gas. Shifting up or down manually makes no difference on a light throttle, the noise is still there in any gear. Cannot decide if its just a resonant differential noise point or something not quite right. I wondered if anyone with a similar body / engine / transmission set up noticed a similar effect or if anyone had any thoughts!

Hi thanks for reply. Really not absolutely sure. Can't decide if being oversensitive or not. Just wondered if they all did that or should report under warranty. Will continue to monitor.....
