Hi,
I got in my car yesterday to find that the passenger footwell was very wet (following heavy storms in the week).
I looked under the bonnet and could see water under the scuttle panel. Water was obviously overflowing into what I assume is the cabin ventiliation intake.
I manged to prise the cover up and unblock the drain hole. I used a hose to clear everything out at both ends.
Also, I've used a wet vac several times on the carpet, taking out a few litres of liquid.
I suspect there is a lot of water under the carpet still though. It seems I would have to take the passenger seat out before I can take the side trim pieces off (then the carpet).
Any advice / howto guides? Any other tips?
Thanks!
