I did the pedal test on my Astra are got the following codes which I looked up:
161600 - Steering column CIM, wrong environment identifier immobiliser B-006
161450 - Immobiliser wrong signal received B-008 or wrong transponder key immobiliser B-006
Anyone translate that into pratical terms?
I've noticed lately that sometimes it 'dies' when you start it up for the first time, you think the engines on then it just like stalls. Doesn't seem to if you hold the key fully to the right for a sec after turning it on. It doesn't go "eh-eh-eh-eh-eh" or anything...
Also my Dad's Astra's window (front passenger) won't close as of last night, unless you stop it right before the top then nudge it up the last bit. If you just do it normally it comes straight back down. There's no error code. He's taken it to a garage who've said they'll have to plug a computer in to find the fault or something.
Has it happened to anyone else?
