hi.
some of you will of read that my dti engine is having probs and im finding it hard to find another engine cheap and its goin 2 be 2 much to repair da existing engine.
however there are loads of td's about.
does anyone know how easy or hard it would be to put a td into a dti car?
are the looms the same or similar if i bought a mk3 td would the looms and engine transfere?

any advice would be great.

do you know what the differences is between the two engines

Which TD engine are we talking about? Early TD Isuzu 1.7 from Astra-F / Vectra-B, or the later low-blow GM TD 1.7 from the Astra-G?

In da end the prob was da oil pump pulley because I got the car off quickly enough no real damage was done thankfully
new pully sorted it
so any1 wit a 1.7 wen ur timing belts being done double check da oil pump pulleys on well n lock tighted
