how do they come off are they just stuck on?

What Astra do you have buddy? And also what badges are you trying to remove? depends on model and what badge really. The griffen on the rear of an astra G for example has 2 holes in the boot lid for it to fit. Where as the H has the griffen just stuck on along with all the other badges on the Astra H. (Y)

i removed all my badges. i heated them up with a heat gun jst enough to soften the glue. then used i cataloy card covered by a cloth so not to scratch the paint. u will be left with glue on ur paint. i used auto glym intensive tar remover to take that of. once that is off u can still see the shape of the badge bt jst use some t-cut over it on then ur sorted.

the astra h badges have no pin holes. They are just glued on buddy
