Well, today I changed the damper pad in my driver's seat. This cost me about £12 from Vauxhall and what a difference! :)

The pad is basically the springy bit that goes underneith the seat foam. When this wears out, the seat can sag and get uncomfy.

Only problem is, the seat has to come completely to bits to fit it!!

I wish I'd taken some pics now... :( but yeah, if your seat is sagging, before replacing the foam, try replacing the damper pad (or get me to do it for you ;) )...

Nah, the creaking sound is usually the lumbar support.

Try shoving a bit of foam in there :)

I think i need this to be done on mine, it's going in tomorrow to be looked at. How old is your astra andis this a common problem.

Mine is a 2005 model mate... and I think it is quite a common thing for it to sag.

this mite be worth doin on mine, my leathers are from a 55 plate..:sus:
