My mrs has a 58 reg corsa. On near to full right hand lock were getting a knocking noise. I'm presuming it suspension related but any ideas or where to look/what to look out for?

Possible wheel bearing or ball joint? I am just guessing here..

I would guess at wheel bearing

Is it a metal clunk or more of a thud?


Could be top mount barings. Give the wheel a good shoogle and if theres movement then balljoint or warn wishbone bushes

Check the conditions of the springs, make sure that they are seated right and that they aren't snapped. In failing that check the arb drop links as like the astra they like to klunk and are twisted when the wheel is turned.
