hey,

hoping this hasn't been asked a thousand times already , couldn't really find anything on the search

I'm planning on spraying my Penta's, they are in relatively good shape except the lacquer has started to peal in places, the paint hasn't gone through yet and they have not started to bubble

so the general question is - If i put them through some mild prep work, using primer to iron out the flackey laquer and high build primer to iron out the few very minor scratches and then use varying grades of wet and dry to remove a few layers of the existing lacquer what kind of finish do you wreckon i could achieve.

1. Prof Look
2. Kid In a garage

I am good with a spray tin and have refurbed wheels before, but that was taking it back to metal and build up from there using normal primer, high build primer, paint and laquer - i want to try and use the factory prep (powder coat etc) as a base for the new colour

Also what would be the best laquer to use for the finish??

Opinions Wanted

I think you should send a PM to Danielh as I remember him refurbing his own wheels at some point
