Hi guys,

So the strange thing is.

My central looking system stopped working recently.

I have 2 keys, both which do not work at all when I press the buttons. I have to manually lock the door and when I do that, only the driver side locks!!

I'm a complete novice, what should I do?

Have you tried replacing the batteries in the key?

Try looking the inside rubber boot between the doors and A post/B posts for broken wires. This is quite common on the mk5s.

Only the drivers door locking when you do it manually is correct as that is the only door with a manual lock on it.

hi, do you have the model with the rear fuse box?
if so check the fuses.
also the under bonnet fuse box is fuse 7 i think?

mines just done same today , wont lock tailgate and passenger door ,but will lock on dashboard button when sat inside van , changed battery,s in fob
