I recentlly got a rear caliper replaced on the car for it's MOT and it was replaced by a Vauxhall one, the Bosch one, which I think is part number 93179158. The car has 77K on it and I wondered if it was advisable to change the other one? The other one does have a slight tear on the rubber seal that goes round the piston but does work fine. Would it be OK to replace the other caliper with a non Vauxhall one, one off of eBay for example, or would it better to use a genuine Vauxhall one, which is expensive?

It's an Astra H 1.7 SRi, 3 door.

Thanks.

Avoid the cheap ebay ones as they will leak fluid from the seal
