Turned up early at A.S.Autocare, after getting stuck in loads of Manchester traffic, and left the bus with Dave and Andy and popped off to Costa for coffee and toastie.

Came back to watch them strip the gearbox and replace the worn bearings with the new revised set from GM. If anyone thinks its fairly easy replacing these, you have got to see to believe. The gears have to e pulled off their shafts and adjusted, replaced etc etc. Also I had my clutch and flywheel replaced.

Such an amazing transformation. Ended up stalling loads of times as the clutch is so light now.
Thank you to Dave and Andy for their hard work and great service (Y)

Here's to another 113,000 miles

How much did it cost you?
I got an oil and filter change and when they took the gearbox/clutch flywheel off the main oil seal was leaking too so that had to be changed. That would explain the occasional slipping clutch too!

Not much change out of £1300 for the lot!
