A suspension squeak that turned out to be from an early prototype poly bush fitted by a specialist. The same specialist is replacing those, which I'm taking as an opportunity to upgrade other suspension bits. It badly needs a wheel refurb, there's a slight scratch in the wing so that's getting resprayed, these sorts of things.

Then as soon as the basics are done I need to find a 7" double din with nav which is compatible with the factory Bose amp and sub.

The good news is I found out yesterday it's mapped to about 270bhp. Which explains why the ST that tried to race me down a dual carriageway a few nights ago couldn't keep up.

90 percent of headunits will be compatible with the Bose system so long as they have 2 sets of rca out's on the back then all you need is an adaptor loom from connects2( costs a few quid)

It's less the outputs that are the issue than the power. Too many or too few amps or watts or something makes the amp throw a hissy, apparently.

The Pioneer Avic units work well apparently.

Wattage on the head units means nothing when using rca out's, they deal in voltages and tbh anything over 2v will be sufficient for the factory amp to deal with.

Basically if your using the red and white holes on the back, the wattage means nothing ?

Better, thank you.

There is some issue that's spoken about on the Alfa forums. I'll have another read at some point.
