mot coming up in november ,when get car car back and mot certificate,it says 8valve 120 bhp ........but on log book it says 16 valve 150bhp ....call me dim .which some of you will:lol: ,why they both differ?

I'd ask the garage where they got their information from or do one of those text check jobbies, see what that comes up with?

Look at a 1.9cdti on google and compare. If it is wrong check the chassie number matches..

Dose it come up 1.9 150 when you do the Insurence?

easiest way of telling is the engine cover and the location of the oil filler, 16v hve it on the right, near the middle, 8v have it nearer the front iirc.

What does it say on the V5?

FYI, there is an iphone app called "My Car Check" this allows you to do unlimited searches for car reg's and will give you much detail of the car. Worth a download!
