This is a post just to warn anyone who is thinking of using a company called Turbo Express,
Don't!!
I sent my turbo in for a basic repair (new seals and bearings etc)
They told me to expect a 2-3 day turnaround.. Fair enough..
Over 2 weeks later I still don't have it back!
Gave them about 5 days before ringing to give them a chance..
Since then I must have made at least 40 phone calls, half unanswered.
I was assured after paying I would receive it back last Thursday,
I rang today (Monday) and the bloke claims he didnt get round to posting it with UPS until Friday,
Yet 3 more calls today and he hasn't got round to finding me a tracking code and still no sign of the delivery!
My car has been on axle stands for 3 weeks now, and I still can't put it back together :(
Soo ****** off tbh

I had to pay them to get them to post it back, so the payment is done.
Just can't understand why they can't just post it back already?
Or why they would say it's posted if it's not =s

That is actually a really good idea, a list of companies to avoid,
and a list of ones ppl have used and recommend.
Maybe then I wouldn't have chose these morons lol.
I suspect that they are extremely busy, but if you are then that's what you say and give people
An honest date of delivery?
I just don't like the fact they seem to lie to keep people happy =/
it took me 2 days and 10 phone calls to get them to email me the invoice
Kept telling me to check my emails in 5mins =|

Re: list idea - It'd be all to easy to slate a company for one mistake when perhaps they have 100 happy customers to your bad experience and it was a very unusual and almost certainly unintended exception.

As an example, if you look up Longbridge Gearboxes on the internet you'll find someone moaning about a bad experience, but my experience with him was A1 perfect.

Believe me this guy is not a good company.
I've now managed to find where abouts he is and it's a shed with just him in!
He speaks on the phone as if there's a whole work crew when it's just him,
he's lied at least 5 times now to get me off the phone,
And now that I realise he's been running under other names with loads of phone numbers
And email addresses, and different postal addresses, he doesn't answer any of the phone numbers anymore!
Totally screwed me, he's had my money, my turbo and I left something attached to the turbo when I sent it because the bolts wouldn't come undone,
So he has 2 parts of my car. I'm so ****** off!

I think I'm going to have to do just that!
No way is he robbing me, it would mean I've got to buy another turbo for starters!
Any Hitmen for hire on this forum? Lol
