Hi guys,

I've seen a few threads on getting an aux in working for the various stereos. My car (I believe) already has the aux in wired into a bluetooth hands-free. I'm just wondering if this can be adapted to have both an aux-in for the ipoo and the bluetooth? Failing that, i'd rather just have the aux in. I've taken a few pics of the setup but to be honest, dont really have a clue what i'm looking for. My last stereo had a female 3.5 jack on the back, shimples.

Thanks in advance.

The aux-in on most CD70's are for phone kits and the like. They can be used to connect an iPod, but they are only a mono input (so sound only comes out of one speaker), and the quality isn't that good.

I have information about converting CD70's to the later spec of aux input, so that a iPod can be connected. Am waiting for the components to turn up, and will do a write-up in the near future.

If the stereo had iPod aux-in, some of the small pins at the bottom of the diagram would be labelled-up as such.

Ah right ok. We'll im pretty sure that when i receive a call, the sound comes out of definitely the front 2 speakers, possibly the back 2. I can understand it all being mono sound though so no differentiation between left and right.

Sounds like you know what your doing a lot more than I do  I look forward to your write up
