Total beginner question here.

I recently replaced my DLR bulbs with some M13 and they look great... kind of. When my lights are turned
off completely and engine running the DLRs are on and look beautiful and white. If I then switch to side lights
they go a fair bit dimmer and they remain the same when the dipped beams are turned on.

Is this behaving as normal? If anything I would have thought it would get brighter when it is switched to
sidelight/dipped beam. The inevitable silly question.... could it be something as silly as the bulbs being put in
the wrong way around?

Any help would be much appreciated.

yes mate this is normal you've got 2 filaments 21w for DRL and 5w for sidelight

Cheers, I found a Corsa which has the same light setup and it acted the same. Kinda makes sense why now when I
have thought about it, obviously it needs to be brighter in the daytime to be able to see it...!

Must admit though the M13s do look quite dull in side light mode, hope I don't get pulled for it.
